It is possible to get events from and talk to the GPIO device without XTension via JSON web commands and a Server Events stream.

• GET call to /api/data for current state and available endpoints.
• Control GPIO Outputs via GET request to /api/gpio
• Get realtime updates via the Server Events Stream.
